Do not proceed to enter if you are not at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of, and located within, one of the 50 United States, or the District of Columbia, at the time of entry. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

SWEEPSTAKES DATES: The Great Southern Road trips Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 12.01 a.m. Eastern Time (“E.T.”) on July 1, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. E.T. on September 30, 2012 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

SPONSOR: Meredith Corporation, 1716 Locust St., Des Moines, Iowa (“Sponsor”).

HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit www. TravelMeredith.com/travelsouth and follow the instructions provided to enter by submitting a completed online entry form. Registration at TravelMeredith.com is required prior to entering the Sweepstakes if entrant has not already registered. There is no cost to register or enter. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or practices, or by any means which subvert the entry process will be void. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on September 30, 2012 to be eligible.

ELIGIBILITY: Legal residents of the 50 United States, and the District of Columbia, 21 years of age or older are eligible to enter, except employees of Sponsor, Virginia Tourism Corporation and any other organizations affiliated with the sponsorship, fulfillment, administration, prize support, advertisement or promotion of the Sweepstakes and/or their respective agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and members of their immediate families or persons residing at the same address. “Immediate family members” shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. “Household members” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

LIMIT: One (1) entry per person and per email address per day. Entries received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void.

ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 21 years of age or older. Employees of Sponsor and any other organizations affiliated with the sponsorship, fulfillment, administration, prize support, advertisement or promotion of the Sweepstakes and each of their respective parents, agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families (regardless of where they reside) or persons residing at the same address, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. “Immediate family members” shall mean spouses, parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, and their respective spouses. “Household members” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

WINNER SELECTION/DRAWING: On or about October 14, 2012, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received to select one (1) potential Grand Prize winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winner will be notified by email and/or mail and will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, IRS W9 form, Release of Liability/Publicity within ten (10) days of date of notification or an alternate winner may be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact the potential winner or the potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner selected. Winner’s guest(s) must be at least 21 years of age and will be required to complete a Travel Release form within ten (10) days of date of issuance

GRAND PRIZE (1): The Grand Prize will consist of trip packages which include accommodations and activities in two (2) separate Southern locations: Wilmington, North Carolina, and Pine Mountain, Georgia. The Grand Prize will also include three (3) gift cards, one (1) $1,000 gift card to be used for tires, two (2) $500 gift cards to be used toward travel expenses. Accommodations and activities for each location are described below. Grand Prize winner will be responsible for travel to/from each location, including any air transportation and ground transportation. Blackout dates apply.

Trip Package 1: Location In Wilmington, North Carolina: Trip package 1 consists of the following:

A. Gift certificate for standard accommodations for four (4) (one (1) room, double occupancy) at the Best Western Plus Coastline Inn in Wilmington, North Carolina for (2) two nights) ARV $378.00

E. Dinner for four in the form of a gift certificate at Front Street Brewery. ARV $40.00

F. Four tickets for a waterfront tour with Cape Fear Segway Tours ARV $140

Trip Package 2: Location In Pine Mountain, Georgia: Trip package 2 consists of the following:

A. Gift certificate for standard accommodations for two adults and two children (two-bedroom room, double occupancy) in a Southern Pine Cottage at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia for three (3) nights ARV $834.00

B. Gardens Admission to Callaway Gardens and its many attractions for each day of stay and day of departure. Attractions include:

• Birds of Prey Show,
• Mr. Cason's Vegetable Garden,

D. Gift certificate for TreeTop Adventure admission for four guests ARV $120.00 (Must be 54" tall and must wear closed-toe shoes.

E. One round of Golf for four ARV $280.00

F. Half day Bicycle Rental for four (4) ARV $73.00 (Note child carriers and/or children’s bicycles available.
Total ARV of Trip Prize Package 2 is $1,625.12

One (1) Tire Kingdom Gift Certificate is valid towards the purchase of tires or services ARV $1,000. Not redeemable for cash. Entire amount must be used at time of purchase. Valid at participating locations only. Void if altered or reproduced. Expiration September 30, 2013.

Two (2) $500 gift certificates to be used toward travel expenses to North Carolina and Georgia,
Total ARV $1,000.

General Prize Conditions: Winner and guest(s) understand that participating in trip related activities may be strenuous and may involve certain health related risks, including risk of physical injury. If winner and guest(s) participate in such prize elements, they must be in good physical condition and must have the physical capacity to participate in any activities associated with the Grand Prize and accept all risks associated such activities. Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of trip prize package $4,411.12. Passes, gift cards, certificates, admission and tickets are subject to certain terms and conditions specified thereon and by issuers. Prizes will be delivered approximately thirty (30) days from date of winner verification. Actual value of prize may vary from ARV stated in these Official Rules. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. All trips described above must be taken by September 30, 2013 or prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such winner. Travel, accommodation, and other restrictions may apply. Winner and guest(s) must comply with all venue, tour, and activity rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of such portion(s) of prize. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and any other costs and expenses not listed herein as being provided, including but not limited to additional meals, air transportation, ground transportation, luggage fees, gratuities, incidentals, and souvenirs. In the event Sponsor is unable to provide tickets, passes, or admission to any event or activity, no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof; however, remainder of prize package will be awarded and Sponsor will have no further obligation to winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize (or portion(s) thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize may not be assigned, transferred, changed or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Released Parties (as defined below) disclaim all and any liability for the actual provision, quality or nature of any third-party product or service accepted by the winner. The awarding of any prize is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules.

PRIVACY: Registration at TravelMeredith.com is required to enter the Sweepstakes. When you register, we collect personally identifying information about you, including your name, complete mailing address, and email address. The information that you provide will be added to a centralized Sponsor database and you will simultaneously be registered for Sponsor’s other websites as well. By entering and providing the required registration information, you acknowledge that Sponsor may send you information, samples, or special offers it believes may be of interest to you about its publications or other complementary goods offered by Sponsor. Sponsor may also include your name and postal address in postal address lists that Sponsor sells or rents to third parties for marketing purposes. ARBITRATION: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held at the AAA regional office nearest the participant; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

RELEASES: By participating in this Sweepstakes and accepting any prize that they may win, entrants agree to release Sponsor, the Georgia Department of Economic Development and any other organizations affiliated with the sponsorship, fulfillment, administration, prize support, advertisement or promotion of the Sweepstakes and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates agents, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this contest and/or acceptance, use or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto).

MISCELLANEOUS: Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries or registrations; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of NY1002462.2 056711-00010 the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize, the cancellation or postponement of any event, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the website or otherwise in violation of these Official Rules. Sponsor further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or modify this Sweepstakes if the Sweepstakes is compromised by computer virus, technical corruption, non-authorized human intervention, or any other causes which, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, proper play or integrity of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it believes has tampered with the entry process. In the event of cancellation or termination, Sponsor reserves the right to select the winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to date of cancellation or termination. In the event of a dispute regarding online entry, entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account associated with the entry and he/she must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
