Barcelo Bavaro Palace, Punta Cana
Barcelo recently announced the re-opening of the Barceló Bavaro Palace in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, following an extensive re-modeling and expansion. The multi-million dollar improvements included the addition of 488 new junior suites as well as the renovation of all existing guest rooms, suites and public spaces. The all-inclusive Barceló Bavaro Palace now features a total of 1,046 deluxe guest rooms and junior suites, with all junior suites offering at least a partial view of the Caribbean Sea from a private balcony or terrace with whirlpool. The new junior suites also include 32" LCD televisions, high-speed wireless Internet access, Barceló's signature B Bed, environmentally friendly light systems and water control and a large, spa-style bathroom with a relaxing rain shower.
