A-MA Temple
This is the most famous temple in Macau and it dates back to the 16th century. The moon gates and beautiful gardens connect the many courtyards, pavilions and prayer halls. Lion dances are performed on weekends. This temple is a historical representation of Chinese culture and is inspired by many beliefs including Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. Across from the temple is the Maritime Museum, also worth visiting.
