All about Spa
For women, nothing beats a relaxing day at the spa and luckily a new Red Door Lifestyle Spa (www.reddoorlifestylespa.com; (954) 349-5500) has opened at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure. While most spas are considered “day spas” meaning visitors will come for a few hours of treatments and then leave, the Red Door Lifestyle Spa is the first of its kind from Elizabeth Arden and it’s also the area’s first lifestyle destination spa. Instead of booking one or two treatments, this lifestyle spa is meant to be enjoyed over several days. As a destination spa, it specializes in creating a package of activities that target a number of themes including stress relief, life balancing workshops, meditation, wellness and weight loss. Lifestyle and fitness classes along with an extensive spa menu will leave individuals feeling renewed and reenergized.
For an amazing spa experience, book the “Red Door Lifestyle Tropical Ritual”--180 minutes of pure bliss—to sample a little bit of everything. There’s the “Sweet Orange and Tangerine Foot Soak” followed by the “Mineral Therapy Body Glow” and “Aloe Body Wrap.” Guests then decide between a “Tropical Essence Massage” or “Ayurvedic Oil Body Massage” and the treatment is finished with a tropical flavored sorbet.
With over 30 treatment rooms, a yoga studio and a variety of classes offered throughout the week including kickboxing, weight training, cycling, trekking and boot camp, you won’t soon be bored at this destination spa. Of course, with a variety of massages, wraps, facials and scrubs, you’ll not want to leave anytime soon.
