Located in Destination Maternity, the world’s largest maternity store, Edamame is the perfect spa for pregnant women because that’s what they target. Their massage therapists are well-trained in treating the aches and pains of pregnant women, as well as the areas to avoid. The signature Mom-to-Be massage focuses on the lower back and hips—exactly where pregnant women carry much of their tension and pain. The varied treatment menu includes facials, massages, body treatments and waxing.
What’s especially nice is that the spa is located in the store, so women can go shopping before or after their treatment. The store sells everything from clothes to yoga products, relaxation tapes, books, magazines, nursing gear and baby bags. Juice and water are complimentary and the staff is very attentive.
