Southern California is a great year-round destination because the weather is consistently beautiful—warm, sunny skies with nights bringing cool ocean-front breezes. Laguna Beach consists of seven glorious miles of beach nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Laguna Canyon. This Orange County coastline boasts beautiful white sandy beaches, numerous secluded coves and activities that the whole family will love: swimming, surfing and snorkeling just to name a few. Kids will love building sand castles feet away from the sparkling blue Pacific.
The city of Laguna Beach manages over 20 parks, making this a perfect family destination. Activities include tennis, children’s playgrounds, volleyball, basketball, picnic areas and works of arts.
In fact, this region started out as an artist’s colony and now attracts over 3 million visitors a year, many who come for the art festivals, including Festival of Arts/Pageant of the Masters, Sawdust Art Festival and Art-A-Fair.
