South Dakota Walleye Classic and Festival

The South Dakota Walleye Classic and Festival is a national event on the professional walleye fishing tour and Akaska has become a popular venue. In addition to the tournament and public weigh-ins, there are a variety of other activities to enjoy including a ranch rodeo bull-o-rama, kids games, art in the park, and the Johnny Holm Band.
